NCL's ships are among the largest in the cruise industry, with some of the newest ships carrying up to 4,000 passengers.

Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) offers a variety of cabin types, including inside, oceanview, balcony, and suites. Some of the different types of suites on NCL ships include:

  • The Haven Penthouse Suite: This suite features a king-size bed, whirlpool tub, private balcony, and access to The Haven's premium amenities.
  • The Haven Deluxe Owners Suite: This luxurious suite is located in The Haven and features a separate living and dining area, floor-to-ceiling views, and 24-hour butler and concierge service.
  • The Haven Forward-facing Penthouse With Balcony: This penthouse features a king-size bed, dining and sitting
    areas, and access to The Haven. Some can connect to other staterooms.
  • Family Balcony: These cabins can accommodate up to four guests, but some may be a tight squeeze at full capacity.
  • Family Oceanview: These staterooms can accommodate up to four guests and feature a large picture window.

Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) offers a variety of dining options, including casual restaurants, specialty restaurants, and entertainment-based restaurants:

Casual restaurants - These include the main dining room, buffets, and room service:

  • Main dining room: Offers a variety of options, including multiple entrees per meal
  • Buffets: Some ships have complimentary buffets, such as the Garden Café, which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner
  • Room service: Available 24 hours a day, with a possible fee Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has many specialty restaurants, including steakhouses, tapas bars, and other dining options:
  • Cagney's Steakhouse: A popular choice for steak and seafood
  • O'Sheehan's Bar & Grill: An Irish pub with comfort food and a casual atmosphere, and Food Republic, Le Bistro, Los Lobos, Q Texas Smokehouse, OceanBlue Seafood, Sushi and Teppanyaki, to name a few, fleetwide.

NCL offers a variety of entertainment and activities, including kids' clubs, fitness, and other activities:

  • Kids' clubs: NCL's Splash Academy and Entourage are complimentary youth programs for kids ages 3–17. Splash Academy is divided into age groups, such as Turtles (3–5 years), Seals (6–9 years), and Dolphins (10–12 years). NCL also has a Guppies program for babies and their parents, which includes open play and hosted activities.
  • Fitness: NCL offers gym access as an onboard activity.
  • Other activities: NCL offers a variety of other activities, including Broadway-style shows, Live music, Comedy clubs, Game shows, Trivia, Poolside games, Dance classes

Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) offers itineraries to around 700 destinations worldwide, including:

Alaska, Asia, Australia and New Zealand, Bahamas and Florida, Bermuda, Canada and New England, Caribbean, Europe, Hawaii

Shore excursions are not included in the cruise fare on Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL), but there are some ways to save on them:

  • Children under 13 are eligible for children's prices, and children under 2 can go on excursions for free.
  • Shore Excursion Credit, NCL offers a $50 Shore Excursion Credit per port that can be applied to all tours, including debarkation tours. This credit is included in the MORE AT SEA package
